A mini break for Taranaki Community News

Our volunteer editor is about to welcome a baby into the world, so we are taking a break.

Everything we do at Taranaki Community News is completely volunteer based, so finding someone qualified and willing to fill in for our editor, Taryn Utiger, wasn’t really an option at this time.

We will be back with wonderful Taranaki focused content later in the year, once this new wee one has settled into the world.

We had more than 40,000 unique viewers in our first year and we want to thank each and every single one of you for your unwavering support of independent media in Taranaki. We couldn’t do this without you.

We’d also like to thank the countless people who continue to contribute worthwhile content to Taranaki Community News. Your work is a tribute to you, and to the beautiful community you live in. Thank you for sharing your creations with us.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you all to stay safe out there, and to be kind to one another.

Ngā mihi,
