Kids to train with Taranaki Bulls

A hundred and fifty lucky kids will have the chance to join the Taranaki Bulls in a training session these school holidays.

On Friday October 4 from 10am to 12pm TSB and the Yarrows Taranaki Bulls will run an exclusive two-hour rugby skills and drills session for children aged 5-12 at Yarrow Stadium.

On the day the children will be coached by the whole Bulls team including Waisake Naholo, Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi, Mitchell Brown and more.

Taranaki Rugby Football Union interim commercial manager Laurence Corlett says the team is really looking forward to running the session.

“The Yarrows Taranaki Bulls players enjoy spending time with their fans, especially future Bulls players,” he says.

“This will be a great opportunity for our players to engage with the community and we’re proud to partner with TSB to make it happen.”

TSB general manager of marketing and customer experience Justine St John said the event wouod give kids a “really special experience.”

“We’re excited to give Taranaki kids an opportunity to meet their favourite Bulls players and learn new skills from some of the best,” she says.

Parents can register their children via the TSB website from today, but they are urged to get in quick, as spaces are limited.

“This will be an unforgettable day for Taranaki kids so make sure they don’t miss out and head to the TSB website to sign up right away,” St John says.
