Colour comes to Stratford

Stratford is gearing up for an explosion of colour this March.

Colour in the Park was so successful last year that the Stratford District Youth Council are bringing the event back.

Chair of Stratford District Youth Council Connor Giblin said he was looking forward to rainbow-filled day.

“Colour in the Park was a great day out for the whole family last year. We received a lot of positive feedback from everyone who participated, so we are really excited to be able to do it again this year,” he said.

“We are also increasing the number of tickets available, as it sold out so quickly last year.”

As well as the 2.5 and 5km fun family colour run/walk, there will be many other activities to enjoy.

“Beyond the novelty of getting covered in coloured powder, the event will also have live music, performers, food vendors and spot prizes for best costumes,” Giblin said.

Colour in the Park is on Saturday 9 March at Stratford’s King Edward Park. The event kicks off Parks Week and provides a creative way for the community to use the park.

Tickets are on sale from Friday 15 February and can be purchased from the Stratford i-SITE or from .

Tickets are $5 for 24 years and under, $10 for adults and $25 for families – 2 adults and 2 children.
